On big mailing list. Messages not getting through

I have recently been added to a list - about 200 names long I'm told - to be
sent a programme of future events. The address I gave is correct - I have
seen it on the sender's machine but the mail will not get through to my Yahoo
address.

The sender suggested something to do with a filter that seems to reject a
single address in a large number. Could this be the explanation and if so is
there anything I can do about it?

Have you looked in the spam folder at http://mail.yahoo.com?
You will need to add that address to your Yahoo webmail contacts.
