Big Problem=Power outage+install SP1

During the installation (stage 2, 3 or 4%)of the installation of SP1,
the lights went out and the computer turnhimself off.

At restart, nothing happened,get stuck on the progress bars.

Methods tried:

1-create recovery disk, i restarted with computer repair.
It recognized error at start up, and tried to correct.All process went
by , now Vista will pass the progress bars, screen goes black and
start showing the upload of libraries= ####/92449.

Everything goes smooth until it reaches 3260/92449, here it shows an
error "0xc190036) for "mcmde.dll.

Seems this dll is corrupted or missing.

Computer hangs in there,kind of blinking the error.

I tried from the recovery "Restore to an early point", with no sucess,
the system informed that it can't be done because i'm in Safety stage or
sort.

The only option available is the command prompt , but i don't know the
commands to delete/repair this dll, or other procedure needed.

I'm desperate because is the machine i use to work also and ihave very
important data on it..

One option would be to boot the system with a rescue CD such as UBCD4WIN and
backup your data to an external USB hard drive. Then you could just
format/re-install on the internal hard disk.
