I'll take a stab here, maybe the Windows Live or MSN Toolbar (Bing branded)? Neither however
could disrupt printer operation really.
Either way, in the default configuration of IE (never mind other browsers) in Vista, websites
can't install or write to the hard drive so it is technically impossible for Hotmail to
install anything without a prompt.
My suggestion to the OP would be to have someone more equipped to correct whatever the
problem is. I suspect there's much more wrong here
I'll happily repair it for stroopwafels, shipping/airfare extra.
