I have tried to find an update to my BIOS (Phoenix Trustedcore Ver
R01-B0F), but it seems almost impossible to find! I have tried a
Phoenix' homepage, but they redirect me to DriverAgent that is a drive
scanning program and that costs money. It must be possible to find th
update elsewhere.. Please help if you know.

Find the internet address of the manufacturer and communicate your current
Bios to them, so they can give you the proper update; it has to be
absolutely correct or you will be in a heap of trouble.
SiSoftware Sandra Lite 2009.SP2 or EVEREST Home Edition will help you
determine the details of your current Bios, if you don't have them already
and may also supply an address.
Paying for the upgrade will be necessary, regardless.

Harry.

Why do you think you need a BIOS update?

To get it, you go to the manufacturer of your computer or of your
mainboard if it's a custom-built one.

Why do you think you need to update your BIOS? Are you experiencing a
specific problem that you know is fixed in a later revision of the BIOS?
If not, the old but true rule of thumb applies: "If it ain't broke,
don't fix it." Flashing the BIOS "just because...." is almost certainly
unnecessary and can be a very unwise thing to do.

As for locating any pertinent BIOS updates, get them *ONLY* directly
from the motherboard's manufacturer. Phoenix, like other CMOS
manufacturers, provides tailored, motherboard-specific BIOSes to each
motherboard manufacturer, designed explicitly to that manufacturer's
specifications, and a BIOS update that's designed for one motherboard
could cause irreparable harm if applied to the incorrect motherboard.
