Can anyone tell me if it possible to sync birthdays to my mobile PC, running
Windows mobile 2003? I have entered all birthdays and anniversaries on the
desktop, but those fields show NONE on the handheld.

Thanks in advance.

Birthdays should show up - can you try a soft reset then
resynchronize?

A bit more info needed
Where are they entered on your desktop (program? area within the program?)
What version of activesync are you using? In Tools Option of activesync
check Contacts Settings to sync if the birthday data is in there, Calendar,
Synch if you've entered them there.

I am actually on a Mac, using Missing Sync, and Microsoft Office for Mac,
with Entourage. Sorry, but I am not sure how to find out what version of
ActiveSync I am using. [I also sync to a PC to use HanDbase.] I have set all
birthdays to "add to calendar" and they are showing up there on the Axim.
But they do not show up within the Contacts. I guess I can live with this.
The programmer of Missing Sync sent me this when I asked him about it.--

That is a known issue. It is a bug in the Microsoft SDK. Microsoft has
verified it, but until they fix that, we don't be able to change what syncs.
There are other symptoms that people experience as well like having a
birthday or anniversary for all contacts set to 11/30/99.

Have you heard of this?

MarkSpace is the author of the program, so they know better than the
rest of us. I can't confirm or deny the bug, as I don't do any Mac
programming at all (and my Windows programming stuff is sparse).
