Bit Of A Minor, But Irritatingly Persistent Error!

When I highlight a few updates and approve to a group of machines, after it
has done it's thing and refreshed, I hit the close button and the mouse
stays busy for ever.
The only way out is the three fingered salute and end the WSUS console task
(which in Task Manager states it is still running normally).

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the entire application to a different
server and it has the same issue, so it seems easy to replicate.

I am running this within a VMware (ESX4) environment with Windows 2003
Standard VMs (2003 AD). There are no other issues on the domain and it's a
well oiled, well kept set of servers.

It is the latest WSUS 3 SP2.

Anyone else seen this behaviour?

Cheers,

Phil

they were saying:

No... on VMWare Server 2 (on W2k3 Std x64 host) with otherwise similar
setup. So it _might_ be an ESX oddity, but it doesn't appear to be
inherently VMWare.

How are you working on the server? VMWare Console, VNC, RDP? Have you
tried with the admin client on a workstation?
