If you find that while trying to update that the process seems to hang, it
could be due to a BHO (browser helper object) that is installed by Bitcomet.
There may be other programs that might cause this problem, but I have found
that BitComet will create the problem. You may also see that once you click
on CUSTOM that the update area seems to reopen to the left of the original.
All these can be resolved by a following these simple steps:
1.Open IE and go to Tools>Internet Options>Programs tab> Manage Add-ons
(or Control Panel>Internet Options>Programs tab> Manage Add-ons.
2.Unde "Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer" you should find
the entry "BitComet Helper". Disable the entry and click OK.
3. Restart Internet Explorer and try your updates again. It all should work
properly now.
