Bitlocker and KB935509

I am running Vista Ultimate.
I downloaded the bitlocker update but never did anything with it. It shows
up in my start menu. I then followed the procedures to download and install
SP1 RC Refresh. This is my first SP1 attempt. I followed the instructions but
WU never gave me the option of installing KB935509. I tried to manually
install it and I got the message that it is not appropriate for my system. In
the instructions it is necessary to install this update in order to install
SP1 RC. The next thing I knew, the SP1 update was available to install in WU.
I stopped the install to avoid problems, but it is still downloading. Am I in
trouble now? My system was running pretty much OK.

1) Should I go ahead and install SP1 RC1 Build 6001.17128 or not.
2) Does the fact that I have never done anything with bitlocker have
anything to do with KB935509 not showing up in WU?

Please let me know before I go any farther.

Since I never got a reply, I decided to do a full backup and go ahead with
the install. So far no problems. However, I don't see any major speed ups
with this SP installed either.
