Well, did you look in the event log? Start > Run > type "eventvwr.msc"
without the quotes > hit enter > click on System in the left hand side, and
scroll down until you find the trouble with BITS and from there you can
probably fix it. With the EventID in hand, and it's Source field contents,
head to
www.eventid.net and enter the terms in the search and you will
likely find your answer if there is one.
