Black screen when i startup

Hey guys i have a problem when i startup my computer i get a black screen and nothing happens. When i reinstall the pc it works again but i already did this 5 times this month and its getting really annoying

how can i solve this?

i have vista home premium (i have a BOOTSECT.BAK file in my c-drive maybe that is casuing the problem)
