Blank emails appearing in inbox

After setting up ActiveSync 4.1 with a vx6700 I now get occasional blank
emails in my inbox with no information in them at all and outlook states
"This message has not been sent". I have only seen this with accounts setup
to sync with exchange 2003 SP2 using Airsync. Any ideas on how to clear up
these messages?
