Hi Jonathan.
Thanks for your reply, but unfortunatly that's not it either.
I do not have ZoneAlarm and I also tried to disable the Win XP Firewall
completely.
However, I do have 2 routers (one where the ADSL comes in which connects to
a wifi router that my pc's ere connected to.)
They work as firewalls themselves, but my wife's pc (on the same network)
works fine, so I don't think that's the problem.
We also tried creating our own emoticon on her pc with one of our own gif's
and that actually worked. We only have problems with the ones she downloaded
her self or got via other messages.
Come to think of it, perhaps the problem is not with my messenger after all?!?
We did change her profile e-mail and ended up copying all her emoticons from
her old directory to the new one. Perhaps some registration info got lost?
Well, I ended up using the MSNBackup software, you recommended someone else
in another thread, to copy all her emoticons, winks etc to my pc, so perhaps
we should consider the problem solved.
While your answer didn't help me directly, it got me thinking, so I will
thank you just the same ;-)
