It is obvious that your laptop doesn't like the RAM you bought. Either you
bought the wrong RAM for your motherboard or it is faulty. I don't know
where you bought the RAM - and you didn't mention your HP model so I can't
check for you - but Crucial.com has a memory finder tool. You can go there
and the tool will show you what memory you need, how much your motherboard
will support, and whether it needs to be matched (always a good idea
though). You can run a memory test yourself with Memtest86+ if you think you
bought the right RAM or just contact the seller's tech support.
