Blank screen in IE8

Trying to run MS Sharepoint Designer Training installed from
SharePointDesignerTrainingStandalone.msi.
When I click on the links to run the videos all I get is a blank IE screen.
Am running IE 8 on Vista SP2.

(It works with IE7 on Windows Server 2003 but I can't run it from there as
there's no sound on that machine).

The System Requirements state:

"You may need additional viewers to use the training. See the Install Guide
for more information."

Did you read the Install Guide?
Does the machine in questions have the viewer(s) that are called for by the
Install Guide?
