Hello Leon,

You need a proxy server like ISA server or SQUID to do it. There is no builtin
way in SBS standard, Premium has it included.

You can do it in dns, just enter the domain name you want to block but set
the IP entry to an internal site.

Please note that this can easily be bypassed by using IP Address instead of
FQDN.

It's nor a recommended secure way of doing things more a quick dirty setup.
You could always subscribe to a browsing SaaS service like www.scansafe.com
and point your users browsers to their proxy services, even works outside of
the corp net.

Yes you can do that. Easily you can create Primary Zones for domain names
those you can block and map their Host entries to some web pages you created
and hosted in some web server..

But;
this can easily be bypassable... When the dns clients change their dns
server attribute on nic or edit hosts file, thus your dns queries those you
want them to be answered by your zones over your dns server wont happen and
execute..

This is the easiest way to implement but making this to continue working
properly is not as easy as it's implementation...

For blocking web sites or some internet bounded services like torents or
msn, i strongly suggest you that you should use a proxy server like isa...
