Blocked Program

I have a program that's supposed to start when I boot into Windows (Vista
Home Premium, SP2). However, I get a message that says it's blocked -
so, I have to go in and unblock it manually. Is there any way I can set
it so it unblocks (or doesn't block at all) by itself?

Use the Task Scheduler to start the program at Startup.

Given this response I can't resist...
Did you even consider putting your question into a search engine?
I put "how to unblock a program at startup" into a google search and got a
gazillion hits anyone of which you could consider.

I agree - you're absolutely right. My problem is chronic head pain I've
had for about 10 years now. I have it every day and, being in the head,
I can't concentrate or think straight. I even had to retire early
because of it. Hence, I often overlook Google. I accept you're comment
as constructive.

I tried this and received an error message which read: "The task image
is corrupt or has been tampered with. GoogleUpdateTaskMachineUA."

I Googled this message and didn't get much in return. What now?

Get rid of that scheduled task and manually update your Google installed
applications?

You can read this too...

It could be that Task Scheduler exe is corrupted. You can do a System
File Check on Vista so that the O/S replaces the exe if it's corrupted.

I've tried the SFC - but it only goes to about 53% then stops. I haven't
been able to get a handle on this problem.

As far as I can tell, that's not a scheduled task. How can I be sure?
