Why a router?
Get an internet security program (firewall if you will), put a password on
it, and block access to "msnmsgs.exe."
You really should already have such a program, and most will allow programs
to be blocked.
Depending on the age of your kids, most won't be able to figure out what's
gone on.
That's what the password's for in case they do work out what's happened.
I don't know if Windows Firewall does the same job - mine is disabled by
default as I pay for a better one.
