Blocking smileys per-contact

I'd love a way to be able to block smileys on a per-contact basis. A couple
of people I talk to seem to have smileys for virtually every single letter,
which makes a conversation with them an absolute pain, it takes about twice
as long to try and decipher what they're trying to say because most of the
message is animated GIF. If a way to do this could be added to Messenger I'd
be a very happy guy

Greetings,

I'm afraid not. I know what you're saying though, that must be really extremely annoying.

If my contacts started that, I'd probably threaten to block them (no, I consider that a
solution).

One small query though, is the forementioned emoticon abuser a female?

Hi Jonathan,

Funnily enough...

Maybe an idea for a future feature then, who knows!
