Alrighty I went off to work with my pc turned on a few days ago, I come
back and the screen is black and nothing I do is responsive to the
screen. I then reboot the Pc it leading to a blue screen. Some times
when I reboot it will blue screen some times it will just be a black
screen that is un responsive. I have tried f8 options in advance boot
optiotns, Ive tried re installing windows- it claiming my disk is full.
Ive tried system restore it also says I have a disk failure. It wont let
me check errors in the properties options on my hard drive.
I have done a virus scan(no virus's) and I have 300gigs left of space.
For days Ive been frustrated and confused.

Yes, we're waiting breathlessly to serve you, Master.

You bumped about 3.55 hours after your first post. Not very patient of
you...

From your description of the problem it sounds like hardware failure. You
can troubleshoot this yourself, starting with the hard drive, or take the
machine to a competent local computer tech. If you go the latter route, I
don't recommend using a BigComputerStore/GeekSquad type of place.

Have had very similar problems with XP and Vista due to bad capacitors
on NVidia cards, I agree the first thing I would suspect is hardware.

In my case the capacitor tops were visibly split open

Any time.

I usually happen to take a bump in only a few hours as rude, but now I also
see that your frustration level was, with good cause, extreme. Perhaps, at
least, the resulting extra bump was worth your annoyance? Anyway, I'm sorry
to have tweaked you at a bad moment...

I see that Malke and Charlie Tame share an idea that might be helpful to
you, and it came only 13 or 14 hours after your first post - which is
pretty good time on this resource which is, after all, manned by volunteer
hobbyists. (BTW, I have read a remark by Malke which seemed to me to imply
that "manned" has to be taken metaphorically.)

Were you able to try a new video card since their posts?

<SNIP>

Nice pictures, but ISTM it would be hard to see any bad capacitors on the
video card, since they'd be largely hidden under the cooling shroud.

Can you get diagnostics (from the manufacturers) for your motherboard and
for your video card? Also run RAM diagnostics (although I've had poor luck
with RAM tests; YMMV).
