Blue screen after sleep

I was wondering what are my options to prevent the blue screen from
appearing after the computer wakes up. This seems to be an old problem that
has made its way to vista. Any help appreciated!

Vista is the first OS to have "sleep". Therefore it could not exist
before...

perhaps you mean standby or hibernate on XP?

if so which one?
