My computer crashes several times a day. I've restored it two times thi
week. The first time just to see if the BSOD would go away & the secon
because when I would start my PC up it would tell me that a syste
restore was mandatory & to contact my manufacturer. It wouldn't even g
to the start screen

Common triggers are usually when I would watch youtube videos or an
other videos that were embedded online and listening to music. It
really been an unavoidable nuissance. I have no other ideas and nobod
has seemed to help.

Suggestions please? I am literally pulling my hair out about this

jackieeffinbby,

You need to post the BSOD error (0x******). From 'Control Center > System >
Advanced System Settings > Advanced tab', click Startup & Recovery
'Settings'. Uncheck 'Automatically Restart', click OK.
This will allow you to read the BSOD error. Could be a video driver issue.

Run the hardware diagnositic tools and see what (if any) errors come up.

Follow Drew's suggestion, but you should try to replace your flash player.
There have been problems with Flash10, so you may want to try an earlier
version.

Hi,

The "common clues" you listed are strong evidence that the root cause is
likely a video codec that you installed. Consider what has been added prior
to the onset of this issue. I have seen reports that K-lite in particular is
known to cause crashes in Vista.
