Blue screen Error while plugging in the internet cable

Hi,
I have a Vista home premium laptop. I got an internet connection some days back. It was working fine untill last week when it started showing a blue screen whenever I plug in the internet cable. It starts fine if the cable is not connected. It says
"Please disable the caching and shadowing features in the BIOS setting".

Please help me out.
