Greetings,
This really isn't the newsgroup for this, but I upgraded my RAM on my primary PC recently and
had a similar problem so I'll share my experience.
Basically, what happened was the driver for my Creative Labs sound card doesn't support
memory of greater than 2GB and was blue screening. Even debugging the dump files didn't
bring anything conclusive, instead what I did to isolate the problem was to take out the
extra memory, boot into Windows, open up the Device Manager and right-click, disable all the
nonessential devices installed.
Then I shut down, installed the new RAM again, went back to Windows, opened up Device Manager
and right-click, enable each device one-by-one until I blue screened. In my case immediately
after enabling the sound card, it blue screened.
You may want to try a similar procedure to see if you can isolate the problem that way.
