blue screen at start-up then vista restarts

twice at start up after my password has been entered i have a blue screen,
vista automaticly restarts to the pasword screen then i enter my password and
it boosts up just fine but i do get a pop up vista window that says "there
has been a unknown shutdown" and gives me the option to check communities for
a solution, i click for vista to find a solution and it never replies to me..
Any comments on what might have caused this.

The same exact thing has happened to me a couple of times. The blue screen
says something like "There has been an error and windows is preventing your
computer from starting up to avoid further damage to you system". I hope
there is a fix for this.

Start by doing the same as above post, then post back if problem
