Blue Screen: Stop: 0x8bbfcad4

Brand new puter and loaded Office Enterprise with no prob. Went to download
Windows updates from MS website and when installing updates got blue screen
of death with the 0x8bbfcad4 error. It sez to uninstall recently loaded
software but can't uninstall in safe mode. Vista was softloaded on lapotop so
no Vista DVD.

HELP!!!!
