blue screen, vista not loading, error says stopped loading to prot

i have recently had a blue screen stating my computer would not continue to
protect my computer but it doesnt say why or even give me an error code. this
has happened over 4 times. i have to go to safe mode and use restore points
to git it to work again. i have not downloaded any new programs. how can i
find out what is causing this to happen?

When your computer experiences an unrecoverable hardware or software problem, Windows Vista shuts down or restarts your computer.
In your case you should check for hardware problems, and for these follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Start -> Control Panel
Step 2: Go to System and Maintenance -> Problem Reports and Solutions
Step 3: Go to Tasks panel and click Check for new solutions (Windows will check for solutions to problems).
Step 4: If a message is displayed indicating No new solutions found, click Close. Or, if any links appear under Solutions to install or Information about other problems, click each of the links and follow the steps provided to solve those problems.
