Bluescreen problem

Uhm, for the past few days my laptop is having a problem... It just
freezes (black screen) and restarts on its own.

It sometimes prompt me to repair via placing windows vista disk, but
this fails to repair the problem. Also, I tried doing restoring to
previous restore point, but to no avail didn't fix the problem.

I had a problem with this one before, what I did is to reformat the
whole thing, but I was wondering if there's a way to actually fix the
problem without resorting to reformat?

Hi,

That error is most commonly associated with nvidia display drivers. Updating
or reinstalling yours may correct the issue, use this link:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
