BlueSoleil bluetooth dongle not compatible with Vista

I recently purchased a Bluesoleil bluetooth dongle (which is Vista
compliant) as per the manufacturer however when installed vista doesn't
recognize, I did try for driver updates from bluesoleil but does work. Is
there a way out to get my bluetooth dongle installed.

hi,i have a bluesoil dongle installed and it works perfect, i found that if
i did not install their software/drivers on their small cd but let vista find
it ,it is perfect.

I tried Vista finding on its own but in vain, tried the using the CD ver1.6
still it doesnt work. I have contacted bluesoleil support but yet to receive
any response. Perhaps some of you have better solution to this. Thanks

Hi, Bala.

I don't use it much, but my Bluetooth does work. Device Manager says the
driver is version 6.0.13.61, dated 5/9/2007, from IVT Corporation. The
BlueSoleil.exe file is also from IVT, version 2.6.0.8, dated 5/17/2007. The
2.5" CD was a special one that came from Microsoft with the dongle.

I hope this info help you interpret whatever BlueSoleil support tells you.

I've recently installed the bluetoth dongle on Vista Ultimate and had no
problems. I simply inserted the cd and run setup and everything worked fine.

Hello

I am using Vista home basic and even after lot of attempts with the CD ver
1.6 , it doesnt seem to install. Even tried from the latest i.e BlueSoleil
5.0.0 for 32bit Windows XP/Vista, but this doesnt seem to solve my problem.

I amalso facing same problem with the BlueSoleil bluetooth and I am using
Vista Premium. Let me know if any one has solution to over come.
