bluetooth and activesync

I have a Del Axim with a built in bluetooth, We have a Linksys bluetooth
USB Adapter (USBBT100) My bluetooth is working, and so is the MS
activesync (8.)
I am running Windows XP With SP2

All was working fine yesterday, Then something happened while upgrading
a program, even since them I have had nothing but trouble..

I do have the bluetooth working once agian on the USB port on the
desktop, and the bluetooth working on the dell.

I can sync all files when its on the holder, just fine..
But as soon as I try with the bluetooth, I get the message that on the
taskbar that it was connected, But it never syncs.

I have been digging around and messing with so many settings on the pcc,
and the desktop activesync I don't know what else to do.. ( and I knew
very little to start with)

but what I have learned is that it seems to be a port problem ( what
ever that is )

on the PC it says something like port 13 & 14 but in the sync I only
have port 1 &3

the only thing I can thank of is to do this... which is to go
into the device manager and look around.. under ports
I have bluetooth communications port (com10
and Communication port (com1) plus the printer port

Network adapters I have
for bluetooth Lan Access server driver

under bluetooth devices I have listed
Linksys bluetooth USB adapter.


I have needed informations on the pocket pc,

I am sure I have settings off on the Axim and on the pC..

But I don't know what I need to do or what steps I need to take
