If the OS detects a BT dongle or PC card, it will default to the built in
drivers and load them, like any other Plug and Play device that windows has
native drivers for. Like any other device you can go update, or downgrade,
the driver from the device parameters box. You likely won't get Windows to
ask you what driver you want if it is supported, but you can change it after
the fact. I just found it easier to work with the BT software that came with
my Belkin dongle than try to let MSs BT implementation handle it.
