Bluetooth Mouse not working until after logging in.

I'm running Windows Vista Business edition and when I first turn on laptop
and Vista stops at the login screen my bluetooth mouse is not working, it
will only work after vista is completely loaded and then it's a few seconds
before the mouse works. Is this normal with Vista? I have another laptop
with XP on it and the bluetooth mouse will work at login screen, both laptops
are Dell Latitude D620's.

My Bluetooth mouse has been working sporadically and this afternoon will
not work at all. Any suggestions would be welcome!
