Early one morning over a week ago I went to CNET and lo and behold they
had the SP2 featured. I downloaded and installed it and have had no
problems at all.
Later that day I went back to CNET and the SP2 was gone!!
I've saw something later that Microsoft told sites to remove it. They
thought they were helping Microsoft deal with the deluge of people
downloading it but Microsoft didn't appreciate it I reckon.
But I seem to have a genuine SP2 and it is recognized as such at the
Windows update site and everything works as advertised.
