Boot manager / BCDEDIT query...

As my 'D', the second partition on my hard disk contains my XP install,
and Vista hasn't added it to the boot menu, how can I get back in to XP
without running 'Recovery' from the XP installation CD and potentially
messing up the Vista boot sequence also?

I've added Windows XP to my boot options using BCDEDIT, setting the
parition to D: etc.

Problem is the NTLDR was on C, which Vista is now on and has been deleted.

Any ideas without having to use recovery console for XP then
re-installing Vista?

Thanks.

In other words, XP was not on the C drive when you installed Vista? If
that's the case, I think that might be the issue. Before resorting to
anything drastic, try using VistaBoot Pro, http://www.vistabootpro.org/,
it's free, and much easier to work with than BCDEdit and maybe it will be
able to get it working for you.
