I secured my laptop with a boot password. However, since recently the
password itself is shown at the top left of the login-screen !!
I only need to copy it to get acces to my laptop.
How to remove this "hint" ??
Any suggestions are welcome!

Define "boot password". Did you create this password in the BIOS?
