On bootup, I am seeing the message, c:\windows\System32\d3d10_1core.dll. I
just downloaded Windows 7 onto my computer previously loaded with Windows
Vista Home Premium. What does this message mean and how do I correct such
that the message does not come up after Bootup. Thank You.

You downloaded or installed? Where did you get your copy of Windows 7?
Could be a bunch of things starting with Dirext X, video card drivers, or
even a malware infection. Download and run Malwarebytes,
http://www.malwarebytes.org/ , and see what pops-up.
