It appears that the Adobe Flash player has somehow been removed/disabled
from my Microsoft products. It works fine with Foxfire.
Whenever I go to a site that requires the FlashPlayer it tells me to go to
Adobe to download and install and when I do that nothing at all happens.
Now I cannot see any of my winks/display pics etc in MSN Messenger. I get
the same message about required the FlashPlayer and when I click on the link
and go to the site nothing at all happens. I have disabled my firewall,
reset my security in IE to low, turned off any pop up blockers I have,
disabled my Virus Scanner. I am at a loss on how to get the Flash Player
installed in IE and MSN Messenger.
It used to work just fine, until about a week ago. There was nothing new
that I installed. Since then I have tried upgrading from IE6 to IE7 to see
if that would help. Didn't help at all. I have upgraded to MSN Messenger
8.1 to see if that would help, nope, it didn't. I went to the Adobe site
and read all there was about this problem and checked all the registry
permissions that they said to check, they are all fine.
Does any have any idea at all on how to fix this? Especially the MSN
Messenger part as I now cannot use any winks etc.

the reason for this is that firefox downloads and uses a different version
of the flashplayer that is made especially for firefox.
However in order to view flash in Inernet explorer and msn messenger, you
have to install the ACTIVE X version of flash player..
and you must do that using internet explorer and not firefox.

So open internet explorer and go here to install the activeX version
of the flash player..
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

IF this does not work, please download the installer for flash..

download this and install it
http://fileho.com/download/594124289...ive-x.msi.html

if the first way does not work, the second download will solve your problem
for sure...
