Which Nvidia card?
I'm running a 17" and a 19" monitors on my Nvidia 7800 GTX card.
Using the Forceware 169.25

Run the Nvidia control panel, and set up your multiple displays.
It's not a problem.

Also check out UltraMon or MultiMonitor Taskbar to get the taskbar to span
both monitors.
I'm also using DisplayFusion, which lets you use a different background on
each monitor.

I know you do not realise this, but what you are talking about is
irrelevant.

Dual monitor is NOT the same as horizontal span. Quick way to check i
its horizontal span like the OP was asking is to maximize a window. I
it spans both screens, THATS horizontal span. Dual monitor is jus
extending your desktop on your second monitor. Maximized windows wil
still only be on one monitor.

Its been a year since the last post, but we still dont have thi
feature. I've given up on Vista, as M$ has probably done also and pu
their effort to Windows 7. Hopefully they include it there
