Greetings,
First step is to try and force the webcam to make sure it'll work in Messenger. To do so,
click Start, then Run, type "devmgmt.msc" and click OK. Next, find the TV card, right-click
and choose Disable.
Now go back into the Messenger Audio and Video setup, choose the webcam and bring up the
Webcam Settings and see what you get.
If you get nothing, then the webcam driver may need to be updated.
