Broken Links in Vista

I recently noticed that links in the Start Menu's recently used programs and
quick start part of the Start Menu don't work. This only seems to be for
Microsoft Office 2007 programs (Word, Excel, etc). These shortcuts work
fine when accessed from the Start-All Programs-Microsoft Office menu or the
Programs directory directly. I also noticed that the Device Manager link
under "Tasks" in the Control Panel also does not work.

I tried the ShellExView program mentioned in other forum postings and had no
luck.

Is there anyway to fix these problems? Thank you for any help provided.

Joe
