browser display settings for Windows premium

When I turn on my msn premium browser the color settings for the display
change from either 16 bit or 32 bit to 8 bit. This only happens with the
premium browser thru verizon msn. If I go thru explorer this doesnt happen. I
have tried reloading the software but there seems to be a change somewhere
(in the registry??). Any body have any suggestions??
