BSOD 124 VISTA_DRIVER_FAULT audiodg.exe

getting seemingly random BSOD ever since i recieved my new computer.
Crash dump file shows the following. Any help is appreciated.

BugCheck 124, {0, 85315028, b2000018, 2000e0f}

Probably caused by : hardware

A fatal hardware error has occurred. Parameter 1 identifies the type of error

Arg3: b2000018, High 32 bits of MCi_STATUS MSR for the MCA bank that had
the error
Arg4: 02000e0f, Low 32 bits of MCi_STATUS MSR for the MCA bank that had
the error

The combination of these two is a pretty solid indicator of a problem with
the audio system. Now this line:

> getting seemingly random BSOD ever since i recieved my new computer.


indicates that you need to use that warranty that is included with your new
system before you do anything else. If you have a faulty component (highly
likely), then they need to replace it.
