I have a computer with Vista Ultimate. Now I tried to shrink my one partition
from 140Gb to 130Gb, in order to create a second partition. I used Acronis
Disk Director Suite (newest version). The computer rebooted and started to
apply the changes, but when Vista was started I got a BSOD with the
0x0000007e error. I first tried the startup repair features on the windows
DVD but they had no result, then I tried sfc.exe but again: no result. Now
everytime I start my computer I get a BSOD 0x0000007e and I have no way to
get into windows.

Any solutions?

Start over with a clean install.
It's easier than trying to fix.

That would indeed be the best solution, but on my system there are some files
that need te be salvaged. This would normally be very easy using my BartPe
usb-stick. But the files I need to salvage are in a PSD (personal secure
drive) which is encrypted using the TPM chip. In order to salvage these files
I need to have access to the system and run the PSD application from HP
(Protect Tools).

So I still need to find a way to, at least, boot the system.
