A couple drops of battery acid on the keyboard will fix it!

What an informative moron!

What I mean is you gave no information! How about an error number. Tons of
things can cause a BSOD. There are no mind readers here. When does it
occur, what version of Vista and SP#, 32 or 64 bit?

Ok, sorry.

I talked about a so-called BLACK SOD, my thought is that the term says
everything.
My fault.

Vista 32 bit, SP2.
Normal start, safe start, last good start: everyone finish with a black
screen and a moveable mouse cursor.
With 'Repair' start i'm able to have the shell on X:
Following a lot of other messages i controlled some registry items
(Winlogon, Image File Option, ..) and they are good.
I refresh winevnt folder, no result.
I'm asking the group if there are other checks i can perform ...

PS: i think i had not insulted you ...

YES! Install Linux - you'll never see another BSOD. Linux just works.

There is no error, then no error code: just blank screen and mouse cursor
