Buffer Overrun detected?

I'm getting the following message each time I start up my computer:

"Microsoft Visual+Runtime Library

Buffer Overrun detected. Program:C\Program
Files\MS_UPDATE\MS_Services.exe

A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's
internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution
and must now be terminated."

This started when automatic update showed up on my taskbar and wanted me to
load SP2. I did load SP2 from a disk and the update went ok but the message
still comes up when I boot up.

How can I get rid of this message?

Either your system is infested with spy|adware or some other form of
malware ( virus, trojan, worm ). Advise you to uninstall SP2 and
then go here for preliminary assistance with spy|adware:
The Parasite Fight - Quick Fix Protocol

Plus, update your antivirus program, boot to Safe Mode, and scan the
system. If the malware has disabled the ability to update or scan,
do an online scan at these sites :

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
