Bug in Active Sync 4.5 x64 setup

While I tried installing the very latest Active sync on my x64 system
(downloaded a few moments ago from the MS website), the installer kept
failing with the _remarkable_ error :

"Unable to access network drive. File D:\Installs\Windows Tools
\ActiveSync4,5.msi"

The installer repeatedly failed, until I duplicated the installer msi
file using the filename in the error dialog - then the install completed
without error.

This would seem to be a pretty basic bug, hopefully someone can fix it
before the next release.

The problem is infinitely duplicatable here. At any time, if I run the
installer without having another copy named as per the error message, I
get the same error every single time, when I click "repair" in the first
dialog box.

Thanks for the post. I have reported it to Microsoft on your behalf.
