The vista weather gadget shows a bright sun and says it's clear. I wal
outside and it's completely overcast. My location is set to South E
Monte CA ( 91733 ). It's about 4:00 pm ( local time ) 2/22/09

That is one of the most stupid posts in awhile. You think that because of
the weather gadget showing something different in your area that it will
lead to MS downfall? How ****ing funny is that? You probably don't have
enough brains to pay attention.

Maybe you shouldn't walk outside until it's sunny then the gadget will be
correct.

Not Microsoft's fault. When was the weather man or woman ever right for
you?

Try the F5 key and refresh and see if that helps.
Read the info on that gadget to find out if perhaps you need cookies
enabled.

If none of that helps there must be a thousand ways to get a decent weather
report.
I'm wrong. Goggled "Get Weather Report" and only got 55,700,000 in (0.18
seconds).

This is not a Microsoft/Vista issue. Microsoft may have found that that
gadget will work with
Vista but not how well/accurate the software does the job its saying it can
do. Some work well, some maybe a
disappointment.

I'm not sure what refresh and cookies have to do with this. I'm talking
about a gadget and I don't think they have anything to do with my
internet browser, do they?

Of course this is a very minor problem ( I've already downloaded the
the Weather channels gadget and it works well ) but I thought I would
try and get this info to the developer ( whoever that is ).

That gadget uses the internet just like Explorer. It may even use
Explorer or parts of it to access the internet. It has to use cookies or
something like them to remember where you live so it knows where you are as
the weather for differs by location. You might want to check it to verify
that it is providing weather for your location.

There is a very empty space in your head.

Not so bad, if it was a Linux system it would tell you that's it's snowing
outside and that there are no shovels available for the version of your
driveway.
