Hello,
yes there is a little bug, a smile can be drawn above the scroll bar in the
contact list window, see screenshot here :

Yes, a number of people have seen this problem. This should be fixed in whatever next build
that comes out.

I thought it was kind of a translucent effect to make it more attractive!
lol, obviously i am wrong

Nah, from the looks of it (I haven't done any full-scale investigation nor do I plan to),
it's just a bug in the UI code.
