You cannot download WinXP.

See this discussion: http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=34112 or Google
"slipstream windows xp sp2 sp3" (w/out the quotes).

You will need your original Windows XP disk, hopefully it has SP1 or SP2
included.

Start with SP3 update -
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

List of fixes that are included in Windows XP Service Pack 3
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/946480

but note -

Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) includes all previously released updates for
the operating system. This update also includes a small number of new
functionalities, which do not significantly change customers’ experience with
the operating system.

Note: Customers running Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS)
are advised to install a hotfix for a Microsoft Dynamics RMS issue prior to
installing Windows XP SP3.

System requirements - Supported Operating Systems: Windows XP Home Edition ;
Windows XP Professional Edition ; Windows XP Service Pack 1; Windows XP
Service Pack 2

So if you only have the original Windows XP and no service pack, you'll need
the previous SP as well unless you have slipstreamed the same with your
original Win XP disk.

FYI -

Security updates are available on ISO-9660 CD image files from the Microsoft
Download Center
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913086

You can also download individual updates from the Catalog and save to be
installed later.
http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Home.aspx

Click Add button for each update you want to download. Once you have what
you want, Click the “Go To Download Basket” link. Type in or browse to the
location where you want the updates saved to and then Click the “Download
Now” button.
Once downloaded, you can then burn them to CD.

How to download updates and drivers from the Windows Update Catalog or from
the Microsoft Update Catalog

Do Start-Windows Update and in the L/H pane click on "Use Administrator
Options". Under "Get More Updates" click on "Search the Microsoft Download
Center". When that page has loaded, on the L/H side under Download
Categories, click on Windows Security and Updates. You can then download
updates for later install from that page. Be warned - the Admin download for
SP3 is 316 MB.....
