Burning DVD for iPod use

I got my wife a nano 4G for her birthday and am trying to load some of her
favorites. One of her sets consists of 2 CDs and a DVD. I have been able to
burn and transfer from the CDs but not the DVD. Is there a place where I can
get some constructive information on this?

Google for DVD to iPod converters. I think there are even free ones.

CloneDVD Mobile from SlySoft is a non-free one.
