burning n audio cd

everytime i burn a cd,after the first few songs i get crackling when music or
voice is played.I have tried burning at a slower rate,not doing anything else
whilst burning,lower bitrate,applying and not volume levelling.Also put a
lens cleaner through burner and tried different cd's and makes.
Any suggestions.
